Where We Are Today

I know that I said that I would try and recap but so much is happening now that I thought I would just put out the everyday and put blurbs to remember the past to help stay current. Today School started again for you at Montessori, you were in Chinese Kindergarten on Saturday and you played Hockey for the 1st time on Saturday morning. It was a busy weekend but I did get my moments with you like on Friday night we laid in bed and watched Phineas and Ferb on Disney. There is nothing better then the alone times when we wrestle on the floor and eat bad food (not to much bad food). I have always enjoyed our conversations about whatever you have on your mind at any point in time. We went fishing 2 weekends ago and you caught a fish each day along with what you called Daddy lobsters (cray fish). You do not really like hockey but that is OK and I don't mind if you don't want to play since anything you do really needs to be you wanting to do it. We are going to explore a cave toward the end of the month and I can't wait to see how you do with that. I know right now you are excited about going hunting on the 1st of September and I know you will have a great time but I am fine if you don't want to go. I want you to do things because you enjoy them not because I do them. I will always try and find thinks that you like and I will always try things that I don't do so that you have an opportunity to make your own choices in life. This will be for music, movies, politics, or anything you come across that may not be in my world. I look at our world together as us trying to find our way as Father and Son. May we always be open to each others way of thinking and our choices. You told me Friday night you loved me infinity and I was the best Daddy ever. I hope you will always feel that way and understand me. Looking at the world through your eyes is a blessing to me and I want to thank you for every moment of it even if that means more time on the floor playing cars and building train sets.
